- How to change/control accuracy of the Weld when converted to solid
- Creo is using Creo default Accuracy which has an impact on Creo Simulate Analysis as user is getting warning : Some contacting components have large differences in their tolerance values. This may cause meshing problems, or lead to unexpected results. Use Tools > Tolerance Report for more information.
- Scenario:
- Assembly with 2 welded parts and both parts have accuracy set to Absolute 0.01.
- Convert Weld to Solid, then go to Simulate Application and show Tolerance Report from Tools Tab
- Note that Weld has :
- Different Tolerance Value compared to the Tolerance Value of Parts
- Accuracy Type as Relative while Accuracy parts is Absolute
- Accuracy Value is 0.0012 while Accuracy parts is 0.01
