Description

  • Solr JVM consuming far more memory than defined in SOLR_HEAP property
  • Solr process consumed more than 90% of Physical RAM of Operating System (OS)
  • The memory consumption of the Solr Java process can be split into:
    • Commit (which stay close to the value defined in <INDEX_SEARCH_HOME>\bin\set_env.bat > SET SOLR_HEAP=<Xmx value>, see CS244800)
    • Working Set (which can be split into Shareable and Private)
