Troubleshooting error "Failed to load shared library, library name: adr3u.dll" prompted when starting TIBCO adapter in Windchill Enterprise Systems Integration

Description

  • TIBCO adapters fail to start
  • Process archive engine can be started fine
  • Adapter configuration service instances are in status Starting up
  • Error occurs when starting TIBCO adapters in TIBCO Administtator
  • Error occurs when starting TIBCO adapters via TIBCO Designer > Tools > Show adapter tester
    • Possible error message 1:
Failed to load shared library, library name: adr3.dll
  • Possible error message 2:
Failed to load shared library, library name: adr3u.dll
  • Possible error message 3:
Failed to start because MSVCR71.dll was not found
  • Error occurs when attempting to test adapter connection via TIBCO Designer > Project tab in left panel > SAPADAPTERConfiguration > BOMAdapterConfiguration > click Run-Time Inbound in right panel > Click Test Connection button
