Description
- About Creo Augmented Reality (AR) Design Share and Spatial Target publishing capabilities
- How to quickly publish augmented reality experiences from Creo for use with the Vuforia View app
- Non-supported devices report the following error in Vuforia View app:
- Sorry! 3D elements can't be displayed because either spacial tracking isn't supported on this device, or ThingView renderer has not been enabled in Settings.
- New Premium offering available in M040 in addition to the previous Free AR functionality
- ThingMarks will no longer be used starting in Creo Parametric 4.0 M040
- Spatial Target tracking will be used instead
- Spatial Tracking does not require a printed ThingMark; instead a hyperlink can be used to start the experience in the View app and the user just needs to point the camera at a horizontal surface then tap to place the experience
- ThingMarks published from Creo 4.0 M010-M030 will still function as will publishing new ThingMarks from M010-M030
- ThingMarks from M010-M030 will be automatically updated to Spatial Targets (without rev-bumping the model) when opened in M040
- Users will need to republish from M040 to use the new Spatial Tracking
- Spatial Target tracking will be used instead
- ThingMarks have been reintroduced alongside Spatial Targets in Creo 4.0 M070
