Description
- Formal notification that PTC is ending the sale of DataStax Enterprise (DSE) as a database storage option for ThingWorx, effective October 1, 2019
- DSE will no longer be positioned or sold as a database storage option for ThingWorx as of the end-of-sale (EOS) date
- PTC will announce an end-of-life (EOL) date for DSE in the future, allowing sufficient time to make decisions about existing deployments
- PTC will continue to support the existing DSE reseller license agreement up to the EOL date
- DSE can continue to be licensed through PTC until the EOL date
- Technical support for DSE implementations will continue up to the EOL date as long as the version of ThingWorx deployed is still under standard support
- Reference the PTC Product Calendar for the standard support end date for ThingWorx versions
