The Renaissance of CAD: What's New, What's Now & What You Can Do With It

A PTC Virtual Conference

Are you keeping up with the latest in product design technologies? Now you can.

Register today for The Renaissance of CAD: What's New, What's Now & What You Can Do With It, a virtual event on April 23rd at 10:00AM ET & 4:00PM ET. You’ll hear PTC’s industry experts tell you about these new technologies, and how they are being used now. And what to expect in the future.

Let our team give you the inside track so you stay ahead of the latest advances in product design and manufacturing. Put on your headset, relax, and learn from those on the front lines.

Opening Session: The Renaissance of CAD: What's New, What's Now & What You Can Do With It
Presented by Paul Sagar

Join Paul Sagar, VP of Product Management, as he talks about the most exciting and groundbreaking product design technologies, with examples from Creo 5.0. Learn how to transform your organization from a 2D centric to 3D Model Based enterprise or digital tapestry. Discover transformations taking place in manufacturing processes. Finally, hear how organizations are leveraging emerging Additive Manufacturing techniques and even Augmented Reality (AR).

Generative Design
Speaker: Jesse Blankenship

CAD stands on the verge of another revolution, powered by generative design. Join PTC’s Jesse Blankenship, the founder of Frustum, to understand what this technology means to the design engineer now, why that role will always be critical, and where Creo is headed. You’ll see how generative design allows you to specify design intent, explore tradeoffs, and discover requirements you might not have considered.

Creo Simulation Live
Speakers: Todd Kraft & Michelle Boucher

Creo Simulation Live, powered by ANSYS brings you real-time simulation. It’s fully integrated into the Creo design environment, so you can now get real-time guidance on design decisions as you make them. Join our two speakers for an overview of how Top Performing companies use simulation and why.

Additive Manufacturing
Speaker: Jose Coronado

PTC is introducing new capabilities to give you greater flexibility when you design for additive manufacturing. In addition to the standard 2.5 D and 3D lattices, you can now build stochastic foam or conformal lattices, formula driven lattices, such as Gyroids, and define custom lattices using Creo geometry. You have the ability to analyze and optimize build orientation to minimize print time, minimize support structures or maximize tray utilization. You can also expect support for 3MF and slicing for CLI export.

IoT Product Insight
Presented by Arnaud Van de Veerdonk

Products are becoming more complex than ever: more software, electronics, hardware, sensors, and microprocessors. Welcome to the era of the IoT, the convergence of physical and digital, one of the most exciting times in our careers. You need a plan to take advantage of both the opportunity the IoT represents and the ever-increasing speed of change.

Augmented Reality
Presented by Luke Westbrook

Augmented Reality, or AR, is changing the way companies design. From how you view and share designs, to how you securely collaborate with colleagues, customers, suppliers and stakeholders across the enterprise, to accessing your designs anywhere, anytime. And PTC's cloud-based AR is getting even better. Now every user can publish and manage up to 10 designs, controlling who has access to each experience, and easily removing old ones at will. In addition, you can now publish experiences for use with HoloLens and as QR codes.
