As General Manager of the Servigistics Business Unit Leslie has responsibility for worldwide sales, marketing, business development, customer success and research and development. She brings a wealth of experience from her 29-year career at Caterpillar with 16 years as a member of executive management teams. Leslie is known for her passion and focus on driving change to deliver customer value and growth. She has a superior command of disruptive technology and the impact on service operations. She has brought her vision and experience to Servigistics and is leading an era of rapid innovation further fortifying Servigistics as the industry leading service parts optimization solution.
Leslie has degrees from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale (MSME, BSME, Engineering), Bradley University (MBA) and Stanford (Executive Program).
Vinod is a service supply chain expert at PTC and as a Fellow he leads strategic initiatives overseeing several accounts to ensure success. Vinod’s strategic thinking and experience have helped bring the concept and application of Service Simulation to PTC. This and other innovations have helped propel Servigistics to be recognized as the industry leading service parts optimization solution. Vinod is a popular presenter at the annual LiveWorx event from sharing exciting success stories together with the clients with which he collaborates.
Vinod attended the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras and the University of Delaware.
In his role at PTC, Maj. Gen. H. Brent Baker Sr. (Retired) is responsible for strategic planning and business development in the worldwide FA&D market vertical with a specific focus on gaining first-to-market competitive advantage in the adoption of technology and smart, connected enterprise solutions – including Servigistics which delivers industry leading service parts optimization.
General Baker was most recently Vice Commander, Air Force Materiel Command, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. The command employs some 80,000 people and manages $60 billion annually in research, development, test and evaluation, while providing the acquisition management services and logistics support required to develop, procure and sustain Air Force weapon systems.
He also directed policy and procedures affecting AFMC aircraft maintenance, munitions, supply, logistics plans, transportation and packaging methods, and logistics data systems. Finally, as the staff lead for logistics and life cycle sustainment issues, General Baker planned and coordinated product support and acquisition logistics for fielded and emerging Air Force weapon systems.
In addition to achieving several educational distinctions in the military for strategic studies, anti-terrorism, and logistics technology, General Baker (ret) holds a Bachelor of Science degree in industrial technology from Southern Illinois University, Carbondale and a Master of Science degree in administration from Central Michigan University, Mount Pleasant.
Dr. Vipul Agrawal is the Technical Vice President at PTC. He has an extensive command of the technical aspects of service parts optimization. In 1999 he co-founded MCA Technologies with Morris Cohen and together they developed the first commercial multi-echelon optimization algorithms. Vipul joined Servigistics and then PTC through acquisition and has contributed to the innovation that has distinguished Servigistics as the industry leading service parts optimization solution. Vipul published the article “Winning in the Aftermarket” in Harvard Business Review with co-authors Morris Cohen and Narendra Agrawal. In his current role, Vipul is focused on supporting PTC’s Servigistics Business Unit and helping service organizations orchestrate world-class service parts optimization (including service parts management and service parts pricing). He is part of the team leading rapid innovation with connected service parts management leveraging ThingWorx to improve forecasting and optimization using equipment data.
Vipul holds a Ph.D. in Operations Management from The Wharton School.
Steven Caldwell is the Vice President of Business Development at PTC. Steven is a service parts optimization thought leader with over 15 years of best practice knowledge. He is a key contributor to the design, development and delivery of Servigistics – the industry leading service parts optimization solution. Steven and his team provide dedicated support for PTC’s Servigistics Business Unit helping service organizations orchestrate world-class service parts optimization (including service parts management and service parts pricing).
Steven holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science from Vanderbilt University.
Ed is known fondly as the Godfather of service parts optimization having designed the first commercial service parts management solution in 1990. He has an unprecedented three decades of expertise and perspective in supply chain and service management, especially in parts optimization. Ed is well known for his strategic thinking and dynamic communication skills which allow him to simplify complex concepts. His contributions have helped industry leaders dramatically transform their service business with significant results, particularly those using Servigistics – the industry leading service parts optimization solution. He has held consultative positions at Oliver Wyman and Accenture where he lead high profile projects to innovate and redesign service management. His specialties include: Service parts management, maintenance repair and overhaul, real-time visibility, supply chain optimization, strategy and product management.
Ed has a Bachelor of Applied Science degree from Saint Bonaventure University and an MBA in Operations Management, Finance from the University of Rochester – Simon Business School.
