Vuforia Studio Developer's Workshop

Advance your AR experience development in Vuforia Studio

In this service, you will bring your own project and work virtually alongside our PTC AR Expert to make progress on your AR experience. The AR Expert will lead you through relevant lectures, hands-on pair programming, and mentoring to help you build the project and realize value in the Vuforia Studio platform.

How It Works

This is a 1-week engagement and includes the following activities:

  1. Review of your use case, requirements, and available assets
  2. Cover best practices across topics fundamental to creating AR experiences
  3. Spend one-on-one mentoring time with the PTC AR Expert
  4. Spend time independently working on your project to incorporate recommendations from the PTC AR Expert
  5. Review final work and discuss next steps with the PTC AR Expert


The following criteria must be met before this service can be consumed:

  • You must have a documented use case validated by PTC
  • Asset materials are available for the use case (procedure steps, workflow process description, 3D CAD data, 2D assets, Creo Illustrate Sequences)
  • Developer participants have completed the Vuforia: Fundamentals of AR Development with Vuforia Studio PTCU course
  • Developer participants are familiar with JavaScript and CSS
  • Vuforia Studio and Vuforia Experience Service are available to the participants
  • Developer participants MUST be able to commit to full time participation for 1 week
  • Access to Creo Illustrate if applicable to the use case
    o If using Creo Illustrate, provide draft or completed Creo Illustrate sequences
    o If using Creo Illustrate, prior knowledge of Creo Illustrate is required

Outcome:Work with a PTC Expert and create a Component Design Document for a ThingWorx Data Model that supports your use case
