The Citadel

The Citadel, the Military College of South Carolina, is a state-supported comprehensive college located in Charleston. Founded in 1842, it is one of the six senior military colleges in the United States. The day program consists of military cadets pursuing bachelor's degrees. The evening program includes an undergraduate and postgraduate program. The Citadel is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. The Civil Engineering Program is accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology.
