Here’s one more reason to download Creo 4.0 and try it out, especially if you use simulation: Now you can see your analysis results as a convergence plot and get more information for each step of the design study. Here’s how it works:
First, start a study or analysis.
Clicking the green flag to start contact_analysis2, which is selected.
Once you have a study or analysis running, you can easily view the results and the new convergence plot. Watch as points are plotted in real time as the study runs. Just click the Run Status icon in the Analyses and Design Studies dialog.
Clicking the icon to display the status dialog, which includes the new convergence plot and other details for the run.
The convergence plot appears in the Run Status dialog. Points are added for each iteration.
After you run the study or analysis, you can view detailed information about each diagnostic step. Just select a diagnostic step from the Simulation Diagnostics list in the Run Status dialog.
Details appear in the area directly below the list.
