You’ve heard the expression “nobody wins alone”. This saying is especially applicable to our PTC Partners of the Year – the highest honor of the PTC Partner Network Awards.
The PTC Partner of the Year awards recognize partners who have demonstrated excellence in nurturing customers along their digital transformation journeys. Selection criteria was a mix of qualitative and quantitative criteria, including financial growth and revenue, rankings in other PTC Partner Network Award categories, and key contributions to strategic deals.
The competition was fierce, with the winners and finalists distinguishing themselves among an elite group of peers. PTC is privileged to have a strong partner ecosystem, and we are exceedingly proud of it.
As I listened to each winning company’s spokesperson accept their award on behalf of their company, I was reminded of how each partner brings a unique perspective and personality to customer engagements. Our Partner of the Year honorees – both finalists and winners – represent the best of the best, and we are fortunate that our software solutions are stewarded by such capable organizations.
And now, on to the winners!
Finalists: Accenture, Cognizant
Winner: Kalypso
As PTC increasingly focuses on the progression of digital transformation from product, to plant, to end-user, our System Integrators are the key to how we enable customers to discover, create, make and sell new products.
This was certainly the case for our SI Partner of the Year, Kalypso. In addition to being named Systems Integrator Partner of the Year, Kalypso also won the Greatest Growth of ACV award, and was a finalist for the Transformation in Connected Products award for two different projects.
We have seen Kalypso grow over the years from a local services provider to a global innovation powerhouse with a strong client base in life sciences, consumer products, and industrial high-tech.
So, it was no surprise to learn that Kalypso was acquired by Rockwell Automation last year. The acquisition brings together both companies’ information technology, automation, and plant technology expertise, creating even more possibilities to deliver customer value.
Finalists: Inneo, Sconce
Winner: EAC
We’ve always counted on Solution Providers to drive revenue. These days, they increasingly handle the complete project needs of customers, from concept to installation and support.
That comprehensive, all-in attitude is certainly descriptive of EAC. In addition to being named PTC Solution Provider Partner of the Year, EAC was honored as winner for Most Impact in Digital Transformation at Scale, and as a finalist for both the Transformation in Community Impact and Greatest Number of New Customers awards.
Let’s take just one example of partner excellence: EAC’s engagement with automation leader JR Automation. While evaluating process flows, JR Automation discovered its engineers and machine builders were spending up to 8% of their time managing and updating print packages – the “digital DNA” of the products they manufacture. With 23 locations and 2,000 employees, it all added up to well over a million dollars in lost productivity, year after year.
EAC came in to build a new redlining process featuring custom kiosks on the shop floor. The results speak for themselves: a project ROI of $1.4 million per year. Simply an incredible story, and an incredible partner.
Finalists: Ansys, RealWear
Winner: Microsoft
For the past three years, PTC and Microsoft have been working together to deliver seamless product integration and grow sales and marketing collaboration. Microsoft’s Azure IoT offerings have delivered global scalability, security, and continuous cloud innovation to hundreds of joint customers. Which is why I am so honored to recognize Microsoft as our 2021 Technology Partner of the Year.
Our alliance efforts are clearly driving success across both organizations. PTC is proud to have been named the winner of Microsoft’s global 2021 Partner of the Year Award for Mixed Reality. We also won the U.S. Manufacturing Partner of the Year Award, and PTC was named a finalist for both the global Automotive and global Manufacturing awards. We couldn’t be more honored, as these awards speak to the quality and depth of our relationship with Microsoft.
Winner: Rockwell Automation
Since the beginning of our strategic alliance, Rockwell Automation and PTC have helped hundreds of customers achieve their digital transformation goals. Earlier this year, our organizations expanded our joint offerings to include PLM and SaaS products. When the first wave of COVID hit, we aligned ourselves even further by offering free Vuforia Chalk – a necessity to keep our customers’ maintenance and training on track.
During this same timeframe, Rockwell Automation also became our largest reseller. In addition to being named PTC’s Partner of the Year, this innovation powerhouse also won the Greatest Number of New Customers award as well as the Greatest New ACV Bookings award, and was named a finalist for the Transformation in Community Impact award.
It’s quite a testimony, and an incredible partnership for which we are extremely grateful.
In closing, I want to sincerely thank all our Partner of the Year finalists and winners for contributing to our customer’s growth, and of course, our own growth. We wouldn’t be the company we are without their unique skills, hard work and perseverance, and global reach. I look forward to seeing who rises to the top next year!
