The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has affected businesses worldwide, forcing nearly everyone to adapt to their “new normal.” At PTC, we recognize the many challenges and disruptions our customers, partners, and the industry face and will face, and we want to help in every way that we can.

In a recent blog, PTC President & CEO Jim Heppelmann said “Knowing that many of you, our industrial customers, are implementing [employee] containment measures in your businesses, and realizing how disruptive these measures can be, we are proactively implementing new policies to help you continue to be productive with our software solutions during this crisis.” With that in mind, PTC pledges to offer free access to select software solutions during the COVID-19 crisis.

Select software services that apply include Vuforia Chalk and PTC University eLearning. In addition, our Onshape product development software is being offered free of charge to high school and college students around the world. Our hope is that these resources will help keep your businesses running while we all focus on the health and safety of our families, friends, and communities.
