Every summer, PTC has put the ‘live’ in LiveWorx by hosting the definitive event for digital transformation for more than 7,000 tech enthusiasts in Boston’s happening Innovation District. Those attendees have flocked to LiveWorx, while another 7,000 global attendees have joined in online to learn how to achieve business efficiencies, bringing together the digital tools, strategic solutions, and emerging technologies that are transforming companies worldwide.
This year, as the world bows to the new normal, all 14,000 registrants will be focused on monitors as LiveWorx takes place virtually from 8.00 a.m. to 4.45 p.m. on June 9, debuting as a free-of-charge, one-day online event where participants can customize their digital experience.
LiveWorx 2020 will be one of the largest and most valuable virtual events to cover augmented reality, IIoT, connected products, emerging tech, CAD, workforce of the future, PLM, and other cutting-edge technology. A line up of stellar technologists fills a livestream agenda designed to capture and hold everyone’s attention while attendees will be able to access another 100 on-demand presentations based on their interests. The session catalog includes a broad selection of session types and attendees can build their own agendas, ensuring their time is spent wisely. All the sessions will remain available for registrants for a full year following the event.
The day will kick off with a feature keynote from PTC President & CEO Jim Heppelmann. Responsible for driving the PTC's global business strategy and operations, Heppelmann has emerged as a driver and thought leader in industrial innovation. Heppelmann's visionary keynote presentation will both summarize the key lessons learned from a decade of disruption as CEO and deliver a clear vision for the technology and business strategies companies must adopt to survive and thrive.
Also joining the virtual stage as a feature keynote is Kimberly Bryant, CEO of Black Girls CODE. Black Girls CODE is a non-profit organization dedicated to changing the face of technology, introducing over 10,000 girls of color to STEM. Kimberly is a renowned expert who has won numerous awards and recognition in the fields of technology and computer science across her notable career.
