Christian is Senior Innovation Engineer at the PTC Reality Lab, where he is exploring different paradigms for interaction in augmented reality, seamlessly blending how information is shared and made actionable through space across multiple domains. Before joining PTC, Christian did research at Google Research and MIT Lincoln Laboratory, exploring diverse topics which include IoT sensor nets, language and speaker recognition, information extraction, and learning. He was recognized as a GEM and NSF fellow and continued his graduate studies at the MIT Media Lab’s Fluid Interfaces group. During his time at the MIT Media Lab, he explored the opportunities new augmented and virtual reality technologies could bring to learning, building several applications in the domain of language learning. Christian is originally from Puerto Rico, where he finished his Computer Engineering degree with a focus on software design.
