Verify your Dependencies for Windchill Upgrade

Identify your Windchill software dependencies to assure a smooth upgrade.

In this service, a PTC Engineer will review your current Windchill system and related clients prior to a proposed Windchill upgrade to identify related software dependencies that might be affected by the upgrade. The output from the service will be a dependency check health report and is intended to help you upgrade your Windchill solution.

How it works

This rapid outcomes is a 2-day engagement and includes the following activities:

  1. Prior to the engagement, a PTC Engineer will contact you and provide the instructions to gather required data.
  2. You will then send the required data back to the PTC Engineer.
  3. The PTC Engineer will analyze the data, write the report and send it back to you.
  4. A meeting will be scheduled with you to review the report and answer any questions.


The following criteria must be met before this service can be consumed:

  • Your environment must be running Windchill 9.1 or later version
