When we develop a new
motorcycle][we are working with world champions ][that’s also one of the key figures, why we ][achieved, last year, 20 world championship titles.][it comes out of the very strong relationship between motorsports and R&D. that’s one of the things that makes a KTM a KTM.
We decided, forever, to collect all our knowledge and experience on the racetrack. So, this is where
we prove ourselves, and as soon, it’s proven this is the best product, then we are in the right position to bring it to the customer.
it wouldn’t be possible to develop motorcycles like we develop, without a system like Creo.
We started about 15 years ago with the first two PTC Pro-Engineer licenses. ][ In KTM, we are searching for a very strong and long-lasting partnership. And we found this partnership with PTC.
in the meantime, we have around 150 Creo licenses, so it expands a lot.

The fast growth of the company has naturally brought some challenges, but they are manageable thanks to Creo, specifically since it’s linked to Windchill whereby we can ensure that our data is always up-to-date. So collaboration works very smoothly.
The 690 Duke is a very special motorcycle, we started developing about three to four years ago.]

if you take a look at the 690 Duke, ][ it’s about 30 to 40 kilograms lighter than all of the competitors. And it has 70 horsepower.] Our competitors reach around 50-55 horses. So, it’s lighter, more durable, and much][stronger than the others.

The feeling with the factory team it’s amazing because also it’s a factory behind us but then also][ It’s more family and complete KTM factory where everybody’s 100% into their work. It’s working perfect and we are working harder than ever to achieve our goals and beat everybody.
