PTC partnered with Oxford Economics to conduct a global research study of manufacturing executives across industries and business functions.
This study shows that as market and technology shifts remake manufacturing, transformation is required to sustain competitive advantage. In fact, over two-thirds (68%) of firms will undergo a major business transformation over the next three years.
In response, firms need fresh thinking to align with these shifts and capture the opportunities they create. This study found that successful transformation initiatives were grounded by three themes: rethinking strategy and planning, the service imperative, and innovation everywhere.
