Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire and Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 2.0 customers

The purpose of this communication is to inform you of an important software issue that has recently been identified, which has affected some Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire and Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 2.0 customers. Specifically, this software issue may cause certain modeling features to disappear in the part's geometry, while still appearing correctly in the model tree.

This situation is easily remedied by regenerating the affected feature. This will cause the invisible feature's geometry to display correctly. The root cause of these features being created has been identified and fixed in Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire M240 and Wildfire 2.0 M100.

This fix does not identify existing models that contain features that may not be displaying on the model geometry. In order to help customers identify existing models with invisible feature geometry, we have developed tools to identify when this situation has occurred. Again, performing a forced regeneration of the model or any action that would cause these features to regenerate will correct the display issue.
