Completing a comprehensive quality management suite together with Windchill Nonconformance and Windchill CAPA, Windchill CEM (Customer Experience Management) offers an end-to-end solution to capture, record, and track customer complaints. With features supporting rapid call center intake, detailed quality investigations and inquiries, and returned product analysis, Windchill CEM facilitates the efficient intake of customer quality issues, ensures traceability through to correction of an issue, and supports robust trending and reporting capabilities via Windchill Report Builder. And with its seamless integration to Windchill CAPA and other elements of PLM, Windchill CEM offers direct connectivity to the change management, document management, audit management, and BOM management capabilities necessary to support closed-loop quality management across the enterprise.
Protect designed-in product quality throughout the lifecycle by connecting critical characteristics in the CAD model, defined in Creo, to risk and reliability analysis in the Windchill Quality Solutions suite. By publishing critical characteristics from Creo into Windchill, these characteristics are flagged in a synchronized product Bill of Materials in the Windchill Quality Solutions suite, communicating the need for risk and reliability measures – such as test plans and manufacturing control plans – to be devised by the reliability engineer. Capture the original design intent for product quality, and ensure it is communicated seamlessly to testing and manufacturing personnel through this new, automated integration.
Telcordia Issue 3: In this latest installment of the Telcordia (Bellcore) Prediction Model (Reliability Prediction Procedure for Electronic Equipment SR-332) supporting telecommunications equipment and widely used across a number of industries, key updates include revised failure rates based on new data, extended range of complexity covered by procedures, a range of new devices, updated operating temperature definition, and more.
Nonelectronic Parts Reliability Data (NPRD) 2011: This update to the NPRD parts libraries in Windchill Quality Solutions provides the latest failure rate data for a wide variety of component types, including mechanical, electromechanical, and electronic assemblies.
SAE ARP 4761 (Guidelines and Methods for Conducting the Safety Assessment Process on Civil Airborne Systems and Equipment) and ARP 4754 (Guidelines for Development of Civil Aircraft & Systems): Windchill FTA offers an easy way to select these standards, automatically configuring the behind-the-scenes analysis methodologies and modeling functionality necessary to ensure compliance.
CAFTA Import: Newly added support in Windchill FTA (Fault Tree Analysis) enables the import of fault tree data from proprietary CAFTA (Computer-Aided Fault Tree Analysis) software into Windchill FTA, facilitating data migration from this format.
Other new features: Other enhancements to Windchill 10.1 include the ability to view thumbnails of Creo models in a Bill of Materials synchronized with Windchill PDMLink or Windchill MPMLink; updated data flexibility in Windchill FMEA, load-balancing to improve software performance, and much, much more.
