New User Interface Enhancements
Leverage newly redesigned, fully customizable start pages across the enterprise: design user- or group-based start pages with drag-and-drop controls; view graphs, reports, and tables right from the start page; and easily access key tasks, like workflow items, recent files, item insertion, and more upon start-up. Other interface enhancements include out-of-browser support for Web Access modules FMEA, FRACAS, and MSG-3; new Web access to the Administrator module; new filtering capabilities; support for Rich Text Formatting in memo fields; and much, much more.

New integration between Windchill FRACAS and change management
Ensure closed-loop quality management by escalating a FRACAS problem to the Windchill change management workflow. New functionality enables launching a CAPA request, change request, or problem report from inside Windchill FRACAS, while a dynamic connection to Windchill change management updates Windchill FRACAS users on the status of the request.

New integration between Windchill FMEA and Creo
Protect designed-in product quality throughout the lifecycle by connecting critical characteristics in the CAD model, defined in Creo, to manufacturing control plans developed in Windchill FMEA. Control Plans communicate manufacturing process controls from the design team to the manufacturing team, ensuring that characteristics which are critical to a product’s quality – as defined in the CAD model in Creo – will be protected throughout the manufacturing process.

New module: Windchill Nonconformance
Boost compliance with industry-wide quality standards with the new Windchill Nonconformance module, which supports the intake, evaluation, investigation, and resolution of internal product quality issues. Seamless integration with Windchill CAPA ensures that every reported issue is evaluated, addressed with root cause analysis, and resolved with corrective / preventive actions via a highly structured, repeatable, and automated workflow system enabling end-to-end closed-loop quality management.

New module: Windchill MSG-3 (Maintenance Steering Group, Version 3)
Plan and execute a more efficient reliability-centered maintenance program for aircraft in accordance with the MSG-3 reliability standard of the ATA (Air Transport Association). With the structured, logical decision-making processes defined by the standard built right into the sophisticated architecture of the software, Windchill MSG-3 guides the user step-by-step through the analyses required by the standard, including the complete functionality of Windchill FMEA.
