What's New in Pro/INTRALINK 9.1
Pro/INTRALINK 9.1 represents the next version of Creo Elements/Pro workgroup data management built on the Windchill technology.
A subset of the capabilities of Windchill PDMLink 9.1, Pro/INTRALINK 9.1 is intended to provide existing Pro/INTRALINK 3.x customers with comprehensive replacement capabilities for Creo Elements/Pro data management. Specific enhancements include:
- Support for workspace frames to “roll-back,” or undo local workspace operations
- File server replication improvements make it possible to vault data that has been created at remote sites without needing to transfer that content to the master server
- A new relationship report provides information about related objects and their dependency types
- Support for Creo Elements/Pro Manikin data
- Combined option to revise and checkout an object in a single step
- Ability to have a new revision of a file be derived from an earlier (non-latest) revision
- Table improvements including column resize and column freeze
- Integrate capability to merge two independently made modifications to a single Creo Elements/Pro file
These enhancements build on the rich capability set of Pro/INTRALINK 9.0 which was released in Fall 2007. Pro/INTRALINK 9.0 introduced a host of improvements, most notably the following:
- Saving working copies within a workspace plus optionally updating the parent copy or substituting alternative parts into the copied assembly
- Directly import or export objects between the workspace and the local disk
- Advanced baseline capabilities - New features include multi-select and object collection, labeling a member as "Top", editing/replacement improvements and baseline reports
- More Table Views - Pervasive use of table views including the ability to define multi-column sorts
- The ability to check-out any version of a product as well as multiple parts at the same time
- New Featured Item Display - quickly find parts and limit the number of displayed items
- Non file-based attributes - better control over what gets shared with corresponding Creo Elements/Pro file parameters and what strictly remains in the database
- Additional administrator privileges such as the ability to undo a checkout made by a currently unavailable user
- Integration with Creo Elements/Pro Routed Systems Designer (RSD) to support wiring schematics
- New platform support for Microsoft Windows Vista, Internet Explorer 7, Oracle 10g and SQL Server 2005
- Migration of Pro/INTRALINK 3.x viewables that were stored in a related Division Graphics Server
