Intro to Creo Simulate
In this recorded webcast you will learn how Creo Simulate enables users to set up and run a simulation easily inside of Creo Parametric. The demonstration includes the Creo Simulate interface, simulation set-up, solving and graphing results, and sensitivity and optimization studies.
-
Creo Simulate Overview
Creo Simulate provides the capabilities an analyst needs for structural and thermal simulation. This app gives users early insight into how their design will perform and can reduce the time and cost associated with physical prototyping. Nonlinear analysis and other advanced capabilities that were previously included in Creo Elements/Pro Advanced Mechanica will also be available as an extension to Creo Simulate.

Creo Elements/Pro (formerly Pro/ENGINEER) Mechanica Simulation and Analysis
This video demonstrates how productive model simulation, analysis and optimization can be with Creo Elements/Pro (formerly Pro/ENGINEER) Mechanica.
-
Creo Elements/Pro (formerly Pro/ENGINEER) Advanced Mechanica
This recorded webcast demonstrates Creo Elements/Pro's (formerly Pro/ENGINEER) advanced Mechanica capabilities. Mechanica customers will learn about the main functions including nonlinear materials, contact with friction, 2D plane strain, 2D axisymmetric, pre-stress, transient thermal, dynamic time, dynamic frequency and composites.
-
Creo Elements/Pro (formerly Pro/ENGINEER) Advanced Mechanica - Composites
This recorded webcast demonstrates the capabilities of Creo Elements/Pro (formerly Pro/ENGINEER) Advanced Mechanica regarding non-isotropic materials; i.e., materials that exhibit different characteristics depending on the direction they are pulled. Creo Elements/Pro Advanced Mechanica supports two non-isotropic materials models: transversely isotropic (the same behavior in two of the three directions) and orthotropic (different behavior in every direction). The most common use of non-isotropic materials is in composites used in high-end aerospace applications.
-
Creo Elements/Pro (formerly Pro/ENGINEER) Advanced Mechanica - Dynamic Analysis
This recorded webcast shows how Creo Elements/Pro (formerly Pro/ENGINEER) Advanced Mechanica analyzes the dynamic response to vibration of the engine control module. This presentation demonstrates three of the four types of dynamic analyses supported in Advanced Mechanica: dynamic time, dynamic frequency, and dynamic random. This demo does not cover dynamic shock.
-
Creo Elements/Pro (formerly Pro/ENGINEER) Advanced Mechanica - Prestress Analysis
This recorded webcast demonstrates prestress analysis: a class of analysis where an applied load changes the stiffness of a model. Creo Elements/Pro (formerly Pro/ENGINEER) Advanced Mechanica supports two types of prestress analysis: prestress modal and prestress static.
-
Creo Elements/Pro (formerly Pro/ENGINEER) Advanced Mechanica - Transient Thermal Analysis
This recorded webcast demonstrates transient thermal analysis: a study of the time required for a component to reach its maximum and minimum temperature.
-
Creo Elements/Pro (formerly Pro/ENGINEER) Advanced Mechanica - 2D Analysis
Creo Elements/Pro (formerly Pro/ENGINEER) Advanced Mechanica can simplify 3D models down to a 2D state and thus significantly reduce the time needed to run analyses. This recorded webcast shows two of the 2D model types: 2D plane strain and 2D axi-symmetric.
-
Creo Elements/Pro (formerly Pro/ENGINEER) Advanced Mechanica - Large Deformation Analysis
This recorded webcast demonstrates the capabilities of Creo Elements/Pro (formerly Pro/ENGINEER) Advanced Mechanica to analyze components which undergo large deformations as the result of small strains.
-
Creo Elements/Pro (formerly Pro/ENGINEER) Mechanica Thermal Analysis
This video demonstrates the use of Creo Elements/Pro (formerly Pro/ENGINEER) Mechanica’s steady-state and transient thermal analysis on a PC board and corresponding CPU sub-assembly. The video also shows how Mechanica can aid the subsequent optimization of the CPU’s heat-sink as well as thermal-to-structure coupling.
-
Creo Elements/Pro (formerly Pro/ENGINEER) Mechanica Structural Simulation
The video demonstrates Creo Elements/Pro (formerly Pro/ENGINEER) Mechanica Structural Simulation. The demo focuses on auto assembly shell connections, composite definition and laminate lay-up, and enhanced viewing tools.

Getting Started with Behavioral Modeling
This Tech Tips recorded webcast will cover the basic functionality available in the Behavioral Modeling Extension (BMX); from instrumenting your designs to the automation of basic data analysis. We will look at Sensitivity Studies as a means to determine and tweak the most critical parameters and get the most bang for your buck when making a change. Finally, we will explore the Optimization of a single objective or goal by adjusting multiple parameters. If you are manually changing your designs over and over and over again to reach your design goals, BMX is for you!
