What's New in ProductView 9.1
ProductView 9.1 represents PTC’s new, ultra-scalable visualization platform supporting from one to over one million parts. Highlights of this new release include:
Faster visual collaboration
- With a ten fold performance improvement over prior releases, ProductView 9.1 MCAD Professional speeds the task of reviewing, validating, and collaborating on product designs. By using an ultra compact, yet accurate viewable format, data sharing, file loading, and graphical rendering is lightning fast.
Better product insight
- By providing enhanced support for model-based definitions, including annotations and geometric and dimensional tolerances, ProductView 9.1 improves the exchange of product information across design, manufacturing, and inspection teams.
Strengthened business processes
- With ProductView 9.1, PTC is offering the industry’s first level of support for the emerging ProSTEP electromechanical collaboration standard. By providing a bi-directional means to communicate incremental design updates across electrical and mechanical domains, ProductView 9.1 speeds the electromechanical design process.
