Mathcad/Pro/ENGINEER Integration for Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 2.0

An introduction to enabling predictive engineering by adding Mathcad "function" to the "form" and "fit" of Pro/ENGINEER.

With the Mathcad/Pro/ENGINEER Integration plug-in, a Pro/TOOLKIT application for Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 2.0, design engineers have the ability to apply engineering calculations from Mathcad worksheets to their Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 2.0 models.

This integration provides a rudimentary connection between Pro/ENGINEER models and Mathcad worksheets for Wildfire 2.0 users until they upgrade to the full, built-in production capability in Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 3.0. This is achieved via custom functions added to the Pro/ENGINEER relations editor. The Mathcad/Pro/ENGINEER Integration Toolkit plug-in is downloaded here from PTC.com and applies only to users of Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire 2.0.

• Create Pro/ENGINEER relations to identify and open Mathcad worksheets in a Mathcad session which runs in the background
