Electromechanical design is a convergence of functional disciplines. The mechanical domain must understand and adapt to changes made to the printed circuit board. The PCB design team must also appreciate any mechanical-driven changes that will impact their work. Moreover, design iterations of the PCB itself must be tracked in order to be evaluated. With PTC Creo View ECAD Validate, design teams can select individual transactions (e.g. component movements) representing changes (ECAD to ECAD, or ECAD to MCAD) systematically proceeding through each, and then accepting or rejecting each transaction.
PTC Creo View ECAD Validate can be used stand alone or in conjunction with other products such as PTC Creo, PTC Creo View ECAD, and various native PCB authoring tools in order to visualize changes before proposing or accepting them.
