| Notes:
a. Pro/MECHANICA requires a 24-bit graphics card. You can use other graphics cards with Pro/MECHANICA; however, they may not offer any accelerated graphics gains and you may experience color flashing. b. IRIX 4K series is not supported starting 2000i2. c. GXT 1000 on IBM's require X-Windows to be started with xinit - -x abx -x mbx -x GLX d. Fortran compilers are only required if you are running Fortran custom loads. e. Intel is providing this to customers. Please contact Customer Support for details. f. Specific Models listed inside of [ ] brackets are tested in QA. g. Required for native OpenGL support. h. CADDS 8.0 and CVDORS 8.1 requires V4.2 compilers on Sun i. The following patches are required on IBM for use with OpenGL: OS 4.2.1 use patch IX78807, OS 4.3.1 use patch IX78809 k. IBM GXT3000P graphics cards with AIX 4.3.2 need an APAR (patch) from IBM. Alternatively, users can choose to run in x11 graphic mode. l. To link or execute objects built with the 3.6.4 compilers, you will need the 3.6.4 libraries. The 3.6.4 runtime is included in AIX 4.3, but AIX 4.2.* seats will need a patch(xlC.rte-3.6.4.0, xlC.rte-3.6.4.1 & xlC.msg.en_US.rte -3.6.4.0) m. SunOS (2.5.6 with ultra-1) needs the patch -Generic_105181-03 & 105210-24, installed for DPI to work. n. Pro/M 2000i2 is expected to work with Solaris 8 ( C compiler version C4.2). p. On HP's to have integrated mode work correctly, PHSS_19739 (HP DCE/9000 1.5 cumulative patch) patch needs to be installed. q. On both Win95 and Win98, a visual fortran threaded run-time support library (DFORMD.DLL) needs to be installed and is available at: www.digital.com/fortran. r. Japanese not supported on Windows 95b/98 |
