- The Pro/Web.Link module requires Netscape Navigator 4.03.
- The PHOTORENDER module requires 16-bit (or higher) graphics on Intel-based Windows NT workstations.
- Pro/PDM is supported running on a Windows NT workstation as a CLIENT only.
- PTC products are tested and certified with standard Windows NT and Windows 9x LAN Manager network configurations. PTC products may utilize NFS from MS Windows, however PTC can only provide support for issues that occur on a certified configuration. All issues with windows NFS must be resolved through the NFS vendor.
- Re: Ethernet Network Adapter - NetBIOS Interface Network Route should be set to Net BT. The NetBIOS Interface Lana Number should be set to 0.

- Pro/PLASTIC Advisor (found on the Pro/E 2000i2 CD) is not supported on IBM AIX 4.3.x.
- The PHOTORENDER module is supported with GXT500 through GXT1000 graphics accelerators.
- X-Windows should be started with: xinit -- -bs to enable backing store. 24-bit graphics should be started with: xinit -- -d24
- GXT500 through GXT1000 graphics require X-Windows to be started with: xinit -- -x abx -x mbx -x GLX
- If using the Pro/NCPOST module, the "xlfrte" Fortran run time libraries must be purchased from IBM.
All machines running Pro/ENGINEER or Pro/PDM must have the Portmap process running. In most cases, this will be the default.
