Pro/INTRALINK Client Instructions

 

Windows workstations

1.       Exit out of all PTC Applications, and stop all nmsd processes that are still running on the workstation.
*To verify, start ‘Task Manager’, go to ‘Processes’, if a nmsd process is still running, select the process and click #End Process.

2.       Download the new ‘prointralink_loadpoint_win.zip’ file and place it in a temporary directory.

3.       Extract the files into the Pro/INTRALINK loadpoint (i.e. C:\ptc\proi33) directory making sure to overwrite all existing files. 

4.       Verify that the new .dll files have been placed in their respective locations (<loadpoint>\illib and <loadpoint>\obj folders) by viewing the time stamp in Windows Explorer. (Click #View, #Details to see this timestamp.)

  2. Download the new ‘wildire_win.zip’ file and place it in a temporary directory.
  3. Extract the files into the Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire loadpoint (i.e. C:\ptc\wildfire) directory making sure to overwrite the existing proe.exe file.
  4. Verify that the new proe.exe file has been placed in the <Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire loadpoint>\bin directory by viewing the time stamp in Windows Explorer. (Click #View, #Details to see this timestamp.)
