H. Brent Baker, Sr. is a retired U.S. Air Force Major General, President of Orders from the General, LLC, and Senior Advisor for Servigistics at PTC. With more than three decades of leadership experience spanning military operations, logistics, acquisition, sustainment, and digital transformation, he is widely recognized as a leading voice on readiness, supply chain modernization, and leadership.
General Baker culminated his Air Force career as Vice Commander of Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC), one of the Air Force’s largest organizations, responsible for a workforce of approximately 80,000 personnel and the management of more than $60 billion annually in research, development, testing, acquisition, and sustainment activities. Throughout his distinguished military service, he held numerous leadership positions across logistics, maintenance, supply chain operations, and weapon system support, helping shape the readiness and sustainment strategies that underpin global Air Force operations.
Today, General Baker advises organizations on digital transformation, advanced technology adoption, and the application of data-driven decision-making to complex operational challenges. His expertise includes service supply chains, materiel readiness, the digital thread, and emerging technologies such as artificial intelligence and predictive analytics.
As President of Orders from the General, LLC, he works with government and industry leaders to improve organizational performance, leadership effectiveness, and mission outcomes.
