PTC Receives Windchill® Order from Primax Electronics

NEEDHAM, Mass. – October 30, 2001 – PTC® (Nasdaq: PMTC), the product development company™, today announced it has received a new order for Windchill® software and services from Primax Electronics Ltd, a leading manufacturer of information products, electronics and consumer products. The software was shipped during PTC's fourth fiscal quarter (ended September 30, 2001).

Primax has been using PTC Pro/ENGINEER® MCAD software solutions for four years to create designs for imaging products, computer peripherals and Internet appliances. With this new Windchill order, Primax is strengthening its commitment to PTC solutions. Primax plans to leverage the Windchill software for design collaboration and the control of its product development data within R&D, its supply chain and its manufacturing arm.
