Corporate Responsibility

PTC strives to be a responsible corporate citizen, and has implemented a number of initiatives to achieve that goal.  For more information, on each of these initiatives please see the links below.

Following Michael E. Porter’s teachings of shared value, our efforts are not limited to our company alone, but to the communities and environment we are a part of. By investing in shared value, PTC is ensuring the long-term health of its business.

At PTC, we are dedicated to supporting community programs around the world. Our community contributions and programs highlight the role of technology as a tool to enhance education standards, to inspire young people to pursue science, technology, engineering and math (STEM) disciplines, and finally to encourage workforce development for more than 20,000 customers.

PTC’s employees, partners, and customers contribute their time, financial resources and perhaps, most importantly, their compassion in recognizing the critical community and educational needs of our contemporary society.

PTC supports an employee-led, environmental and sustainability team with two main goals. First of all, our global team is dedicated to identifying green initiatives and opportunities for improvement. We also look for efficiency gains throughout all functions of our company and have implemented savings from energy savings (lights, technology usage, and travel reductions) to managing waste throughout our facilities.

The second goal of this team is to increase employee engagement and education around environmental and sustainability issues. We accomplish this through multiple channels of communication including internal communities, virtual trainings and meetings, as well as local events.

The value of PTC software can only be realized if our customers put it to use in improving the way their products are created and serviced. At PTC, we strive to engage with our customers to better understand their challenges, and then enable them to transform their business. To maximize our business value, we have created social communities, training libraries, and a customer centric engagement model to ensure customers know how to implement and use all the capabilities available to them with PTC software and solutions.

At PTC, employee engagement is a top priority. We understand that a company is only as good as its employees. One of the ways PTC focuses on strengthening engagement is by continuing to build a strong corporate culture and set of core values. Our company invests in employees through training and continuing education opportunities. PTC offers many benefits to its employees ranging from access to training libraries to education assistance programs.

A great example of employee investment is inviting recent college graduates to capitalize on an extensive skills training opportunity by applying to the PTC Service Academy.
