2013 Finals – RAF Museum, Cosford – Sunday June 16th

Teams will compete for the coveted title of Scalextric4Schools champions.

Entry forms will be sent to everyone registered on the challenge web site and entries must be received by Friday 3rd May 2013.

Supply of parts packs

To improve our service, PTC has been working with Hornby to supply parts and track through their (PTC) online global e-store.

Temporarily, the components packs C8523 are unavailable and expected back in stock in May.

2012 UK Competition

All teams who registered for the finals have now received entry forms which must be returned by Monday 7th May. Why not come along to see how the teams get on. 10am – 4pm on Sunday June 24th 2012 at the RAF Museum, Cosford, Shifnal, Shropshire, TF11 8UP

Scalextric4Schools in Australia

In 2011 with support from Holden/GM, Concept2Creation managed two challenges for schools in North Adelaide.

Endeavour College won the Holden Cruze Assembly Challenge and St. Patricks took the award for the Holden Eco Challenge.

Congratulations to winners and the teams who took part plus Holden, Concept2Creation, Southern Model Supplies and Sonnex for their support.

Many schools run the project in their timetabled lessons while some enter the competition trying to become Scalextric4Schools Champions.

PTC and Hornby are pleased to announce the 2012 challenge launched at the D&T with ICT Show at the NEC, UK on 17-19th November. At the show we will be offering schools the opportunity to “Race what you bring” on the F3 and 40 metre Bloodhound SSC tracks!

  • Fastest car - Sharp Edges, Arthur Terry School, Sutton Coldfield achieved a scale speed of 612mph
