Oracle to SQL Server Migration Tools
It will be possible to migrate a Windchill Oracle-based system to a Windchill SQL Server-based system. A migration process uses Microsoft’s SSMA tool.

For those customers that have made decisions to deploy only Microsoft technologies, they may neither have the necessary expertise to maintain or support an Oracle system, nor can they take advantage of any preferential Microsoft price agreements they might have made.
With this migration capability, customers will be able to migrate to their database platform of choice without any data or functionality loss while decreasing their total cost of ownership.
The process assumes Oracle and SQL Server entry level database administration skill and relies on the Microsoft SQL Server Migration Assistant (SSMA) tool.
The migration process can be used by existing Windchill PDMLink customers or Pro/Intralink 3.x customers who are migrating to Windchill.
