ADB Broadband Adopts PTC Windchill PDMLink to Optimize Product Development Processes

ADB Broadband in Italy is the leading developer and provider of electronic systems for the connection and the transmission of broadband data, such as VoIP, mobile USB devices, and routers.

Initiatives:

• ADB Broadband had a need for a PLM solution for:
• Product structure and configuration management
• Product documentation management
• Approval workflow and change management
• Simplifying and increasing data sharing

Solution:

• Working with SIT Engineering Solutions, an authorized PTC reseller, ADB Broadband adopted PTC Windchill PDMLink, and integrated Windchill with their ERP system
• SIT Engineering Solutions also helped to migrate components,  documents, and bill of materials (BOMs) from ADB Broadband’s legacy system to Windchill PDMLink

• Expeditious PLM implementation and data migration
• ADB Broadband has improved change and configuration managment, and document management
